Played this last nite... basically a play on RADKE and his current form. He should be able to hold CWS to 3 or less. MINN hopefully scores 5 or less and TWINS win.

San Diego at COLORADO

ROCKIES Jennings looks to be a pretty solid young starter. He's pitched fairly well as COLO is 4-1 when he starts. JONES on the other hand is having a terrible year as SD is 10-21 in games he starts. His road record is not nearly as bad, but he still suffers from a lack of support, as SD averages 3.7 rpg when he pitches. That won't get it done in COORS! After last nite's 3-1 SD win, I look for COLO to come out firing. They are 4-0 in Game 4 after a loss, while SD is 2-0 after a W, so something has to give. JENNINGS games are 3-0 UNDER when he pitches during the day, so I'm gonna look for that trend to continue here, and take the HOME TEAM ROCKIES to win a well pitched game by JENNINGS, 6-2. HP UMP Hollowell is 14-9 for HT, and his games average 9.26 rpg. He calls an average of K's compared to only 5.7 walks so this should help both the Under and Rockies.

good luck, like both col and under as well. home plate ump was behind the dish for one of jennings first games against nym, a 10-0 shutout. ump looks to have a good k/bb ratio. also walker 0-12 cirillo 1-10 lifetime off jones(although helton is a scorching 12-19 w/ 4 2b and 3 hrs!) saw jennings throw back in college--good stuff and good hitting pitcher then.

Playing the A's with their hot lineup and with the pitching change and WIND out to left at 14, I'm taking the OVER. WISE is a flyball pitcher and will get in trouble.

Unbelievable... wonderful start! MINN down 7-2 so that UNDER can only LOSE, not win. S.D. is up 8-0 with one out in the 2nd! Great... Got COL and Under. Hmmm...that game is going well. Glad JENNINGS got thru the first. Sheesh... I hate starting days like this.

Well, that's what I get. DOG system got killed last nite, and I go against it today!
Well at least maybe my ANGELS will let the A's roll to a big win and soothe my wounds.

NY Mets at MONTREAL

METS playing without PIAZZA today, and I'm hoping that doesn't hurt them too badly. CHEN has been phenomemal for the METS since coming here, having won 9 of 10. OHKA is NOT very good period... he's managed to get a few wins, but I don't think he's a quality starter. MONTREAL bats have gone silent once again, and I can't see them, mostly a fastball hitting team, doing much with CHEN and all his offspeed stuff. The METS should win this one, but without PIAZZA, I'll just play the UNDER 8.5.

Last two times OHKA faced a lefty at home, MONTREAL was shut out, by WOLF and GLAVINE.

Atlanta UN 7.5 -115

Both offenses struggling to score, and I think MADDUX pitches a gem knowing his team needs to win... He may not get the W, but he'll give his team a shot. CLEMENT hasn't been bad at home, so I don't look for ATL to score too many. Another 4-2 type game wouldn't shock me.

Phillies -160

DAAL had a great game last time out, and PHIL likes to score for this guy. The bats woke up last nite, and I look for that to continue against DAVIS. The OVER may be worth a look too, but I'll just stick to the basics...

BALT OVER 9.5

These two should continue to run up the score with these two pitchers going. Although LOWE hasn't been too bad, DOUGLASS should get roughed up. O'nora behind the plate doesn't hurt as his games average OVER 10 rpg. A meaningless game to play free and easy, let's take batting practice!

TORONTO UNDER 9.5 -120

LYON continues to pitch well for TORONTO and TBAY can't seem to win with RUPE on the hill. He's pitched very well at home with no support, as has LYON. He gets very few runs to work with, but doesn't serve up many either. I look for a low scoring game here and a probable TOR win.

Milw at ARIZONA

With QUEVEDO going for MILW and his under trends, and JOHNSON going for AZ, I jumped on this under at 7.5 -120 last nite. The ball has been jumping out of the stadium so far in this series, but if anyone is gonna quiet the bats down, it'll be these two. If the line goes too crazy, I may buy back OVER 7 +110 or something, but at this point, this game looks UNDER to me.... wouldn't go UNDER the 7 though... too scary of a number.
