homomarriage :sadwave:
so what happens to those who got married already?
dont worry, out left wing nut job judges in ca will overturn our ban on gay marrige vote...again.
It's unconstitutional to ban gay marriage. But the people have spoken. Maybe in another decade or so people (even in California) won't hate gays so much.
I wouldn't say it was all that overwhelming this time. But like I said, the people have spoken.
Yeah, we need to protect the children from learning that gay people exist. It's a real problem that kids might be told that at some point that there are gay people. I this thing passed, then first graders all across the state would be learning about gay people at an alarming rate. ...Then again, I didn't know that part of the proposition included forcing 1st grade teachers to indoctrinate their students into the gay world.
Paranoid unrealistic discrimination. But the people have spoken. Your side won.
there is a thing called a civil union that provides the same rights as marriage.
gay marriage has been voted down, overwhelmingly everytime and everyplace it's put to a vote.
i dont need my kids being taught about gay marriage in the 1st grade and taken to a gay marriage ceremony without me having any say or recourse....which is exactly what this is all about.

It's too bad that some questionable school policies cost gay people the desire to get married.
fixed your post for you.
Two gay men live on my block with their adopted son about 11 yo. Both men seem cool, although of of them is kind of kooky. The problem is they tell people the son is one of their nephews to shield him from discrimination. Sadly, I think it will end up far worse for the kid that they aren't honest. Can you imagine having to live a lie? I mean, isn't growing up difficult enough without this added pressure? Very unfair for the kid in this situation imo.
