lebron james total points OVER (whatever number they want to post)

im not a conspiracy theorist. i do consider myself to have a rational mind.

that said, there is no doubt in my mind that lebron will get every call imaginable tomorrow night in toronto. would not surprise me at all to see him shoot 18 or 20 free throws.

the nba cant win the game for cleveland tomorrow and lose it for new jersey. after all, cleveland put themselves in this predicament by choking down the home stretch of the regular season.

but theres no doubt lebron will get every whistle and go for 35+ on wednesday night to at least give cleveland a chance to get in the playoffs. he did, of course, go for 56 his last time up to toronto.

cleveland is the city of disappointment, so im not getting my hopes up for the cavs making the playoffs. they gagged bad down the stretch.

i think cleveland will win tomorrow... but i think new jersey will win their game as well.

incidentally, heard doc rivers post game press conference after the cavs game tonight and he was asked about the nets game tomorrow. he said he was going to go with the same rotation that he did tonight in cleveland and that 'the young guys would get a lot of minutes'. he said that is was only fair to both cleveland and new jersey that he use the same rotation for both games.

we'll see. truthfully, i think boston will mail it in. hope im wrong.

i repeat -- im not saying 'conspiracy' in toronto and boston tomorrow. thats ridiculous.

but i do think the refs know whats at stake and will almost subconsciously be giving lebron every call whenever he goes to the hoop.

and regardless of all that, lebron will be jacking anyways because if he sits home for the playoffs, i think he will go down on his terms -- meaning hes gonna be taking the shots and not be as unselfish as he normally is.

in sum:

cleveland wins tomorrow.
lebron scores 35 or 40.
new jersey wins tomorrow.
nets go to playoffs.

lebron OVER whatever points for me.

incidentally, anyone have any guesses as to the two lines tomorrow (cleveland/toronto....new jersey/boston)

was talking about it with a friend after the cavs game.

i said cleveland will be pick and boston will be -2
he said cleveland -3 and new jersey -5.5

obviously, he thinks lines will be really inflated toward the teams needing their respective game.

i tend to think nba is a little different than nfl. when starters sit in nfl, you have no chance. i think both games will still be tight even if some guys sit.

Gman.......does it concern you that both games start at 7 eastern........if NJ gets out to a large lead will this effect the way cleveland plays???

You have to believe these guys keep an eye on the other scores.......

as a fan, i hate that they both start at 7eastern. wish they were played (at very least) at staggered times. youre right, if new jersey gets out to an early lead, that can deflate cleveland. i expect the nets to play hard either way. if cavs are playing well, new jersey obviously has to keep pace. nets control their own destiny. cavs outcome means little to them, because if nets win, theyre in. i can definitely see cavs 2h being lame if nets dominate boston.

at very least, will be an interesting night tomorrow. just a damn shame cavs put themselves in this spot. at the all-star break, believe they had home court for the playoffs. now, they need some help just to qualify.

Are the early lines out?

If so - where do you guys get them?

I'm guessing the Cleveland line will be Cleveland -4.5

Good luck!
