PS2 baseball games

I'm heading to the store in about an hour to buy a baseball game for the PS2. The current plan is to buy the EA Sports one. Any of you video game buffs think there's a better one? Thanks....

I have only played MVP on the computer, not on PS2. I wasn't too impressed with the computer version.

I have World Series Baseball 2k3 for PS2 and I love it. Gameplay on it is great, but the outta game stuff is even better. Doing all the things with getting a coaching staff, drafting players, signing free agents, the minors.

Are you talking about the Triple Play series? Check out some online reviews before you go, I think High Heat got good reviews this year, but in the past I have hated the TP games.

2003 Video Baseball Games

2003 Video Baseball Games

I have XBox but the games are pretty much the same from what I can tell. I hated the EA Triple Play series but I really like the new EA MVP Baseball 2003. I haven't played World Series 2K3 yet but I have also heard very good things about it and I was a fan in the past.

I would really like an opinion of someone who has played both EA MVP 2003 and Sega World Series 2K3 for either PS2 or XBox.

acehistr8 the EA baseball game out this year is MVP Baseball, they stopped the Triple Play series. MVP has good graphics but I am not sure about the franchise stuff. It all depends on your preferences.

im not a big video game guy, but mvp baseball for xbox is ridiculous (in a good way). the games are actually realistic as far as scores are concerned (its possible to play a 2-1 video baseball game. who woulda thought?), the control over the velocity and movement of a pitch is excellent. the graphics are excellent. pretty amazing work by ea sports on this yrs game

same here, best baseball game for the box is 2k3, awesome game.

I think the EA Mvp is the best right now out there. Well it's nothing compared to EA Nhl 2k3 ofcourse
