I've gotten old and stopped researching this stuff. I had a PS3 that puked about a year ago and still have a Xbox 360. I've always had a gaming system in the house but with kids, work and grad school I haven't missed gaming.

I'm thinking of picking up a system though but my research is inconclusive.

What do you recommend and why? If I'm not tied to any titles that are only on one system does it even matter?

I have a 4k tv. Does that matter?

Thanks guys.

I've got friends with PS4's and when they play on my XboxOne, they usually say, if it weren't for the game "Uncharted" they would have bought an XboxOne.

Having a similar issue deciding. The XBox One is nice, as it has an ultra HD Bluray built in. Sony went cheap with their new model of the PS4 - the Pro, and didn't include an updated Bluray drive.

If it wasn't for MLB the Show (only avail on Sony PS4), I would have an Xbox One in a minute - just to have the high def Bluray. But MLB the Show is so amazing - it keeps me faithful to PS4.
