I was in a hurry AR, but that's the only 2 I saw...might end up getting Athlon myself...although I will probably never not buy Phil's, I really enjoy reading Lindy's. But I think it helps to get more than 1 as they all have their strong points & they do their job thoroughly...:toast:

I have a question for SEC people or anyone that might know.

Why doesn't Florida get better recruiting classes? If I was a star recruit it would be on my top 3 places to go(USC and Texas being the other two). Great program, great coach, great conference and I assume although i've never been there that the school is cool as well.

layin, I'll make a few comments:

1) I wouldn't trust all the lists. If Fla was lower than Top 3 any of the L3 years, they're grading it wrong.

2) Meyer may value different attributes than the avg coach. 2008 Florida had the most team speed I've ever seen. 12 guys that ran 4.2/4.3.

3) I do think the top level teams like Fla & Southern Cal reach a talent saturation point. Remember the riches of nine-deep RB pool that USC had? At some point, those players go elsewhere to not ride the pine for 3 years. Play now! That's the mantra.

All things considered, I don't think Meyer's too worried. Harvin goes, and I don't think they miss him a bit.

Im on the same page as the GOAT.
The ranking of the teams are off....
Rivals or Scout cant remember at the time is mainly made up of ALABAMA graduates, and since we love college football in the south as a whole much more than other place, the way to sell the websites would be to gear the recruites so that all SEC teams are involved....
FL...........
HANDS down DOUBLE DIGET win in the championship game vs teXass, UCANT SEE, OK i cant win a champion ship game, or a shitty i mean shittly big ten team that confrence is horrible and getting worse by the years.....
Ohio st :mj07: :mj07:
Penn st :mj07: :mj07:
and who?

SABIN will not win a SEC shampionship at Alabama unless Myer leaves for N dame.....He knows this

Picked up Steele today.

He has Mississippi number 6 in the country and Notre Dame number 7.

Lindy has the Rebels at 9 & Notre Dame at 37...don't know a lot about the Irish but I can see Ole Miss picked there?...who knows maybe the Irish will end up there...

I am going to have to delve into Mississippi. I knew they were pretty good last year. I see they have 8
returning on offense and 8 returning on defense.

And they still might have some value Oakas...even after they upset Florida & later whipped LSU & Miss St by a combined 76-13 a lot of people gave them no chance against Texas Tech... I think their biggest concern is replacing their All American Left tacle (Oher)...and they did lose All American DT (Jerry) but they still are supposed to be loaded on the DL.

I really like that area KeyGray...have family all the way from Dickinson, League City, Seabrook, & Webster...lived in Seabrook bout 5yrs not long ago...I kinda refer to the Clear Lake Area as a Cowboys Florida. A lot of people don't realize that the area is (supposedly) the 3rd biggest yachting community in the U. S. I'd be there today if it wasn't for he kids & grandkids here. Don't know if the Judge ever gets down that way or not.

I work in Seabrook and live in Kemah.
Wife is from Dickinson.

I thought this was the biggest yacht area. I guess San Diego is ahead of us for sure.
