hats off to the leaf backers, toronto deserved to win the game.
Flyers were lucky to even be in the game, let alone tie it up with Rex's goal late in the 3rd. had the chance to win though, that post by Johnson was the one.
flyers got up 2 - 0, but leafs controlled the game. the puck was in the flyers end most of the nite, and the leafs did a good job of keepin it there.
toronto beat the flyers to many loose pucks, and were on top of guyz trying to clear the zone. at times i wondered if kickserv or the DR were on the ice helpin out. :grins:

big names did not step up last nite, goals by Weino & Rico are not gonna get it done.
Chechmanek kept the flyers in the game, but poor defense is not gonna win games either.
as far as the CARVING done to Nolan and Mogilny, I felt the one on Nolan should have been called. clearly a missed swipe at lifting the stick and WHAM right in the puss.
However, the one on Mogilny looked like a no call. I know the rule, but it's hockey, and chit does happen. man, he got fawked up.
What happened to Sundin's facemask late in the game. Flyers announcers were saying that at end of plays he was getting away with stuff because of his protection. seemed JR went over to referee at one point to say something aboot this.
Did refs tell "who got the" Mats that he could not have it both ways ?? either play like u have an injured face, or take it off and play like a man.
