Wow... it's been awhile since I've been in here. Seemed like everyone was doing so well and not many were even looking at my picks, so I quit posting since it seemed such a waste of time. But, lo and behold, I have some time off and come back to find, the REAL MEN of the PENALTY BOX have gone pay. Don't get me wrong, they are all great cappers and worthy of payment in my opinion, but this forum is the reason we DON'T do that. This is where the average guy can come and get good info and make money at something he loves. I'm saddened by the departure of those that have left, but come on... there's no reason to fret. If they want to go the way of so many others, let them go. I hope they make lots of money and find sucess. My feeling is they won't, because once you make this a business, and not a hobby, well, quite frankly it becomes a job, work, the ultimate four letter word. No longer can you "take a break" when you need to. You have to provide your clients with plays whether you are going bad or good. Unfortunately for your clients, they pay to get these plays when in your heart you KNOW they should pass... The saddest part is you are preying on the worst of the sick gamblers in the world, those who would actually pay someone to lose their money for them....

Again, I'm not bashing ND, DDUBS, or CHENKER... I would never do that. I have the utmost respect for them as cappers... but I've lived in VEGAS, worked in the business as capper, administrator, runner, etc.... and once it becomes your "job" it quits being fun. I wish you all well... hope it works better for you.

With that being said, here's my record to date. No plays since NOVEMBER 21st, so if you don't remember, I don't blame you!

On to the plays:

Ottawa at BOSTON

We have a good team playing well OTTAWA vs a so-so team not playing well in BOSTON. Normally a decent team like the Bruins is worth a look at home where home ice is so important, but BOSTON has not won a game at home in their last six! Besides that, OTT is unbeaten in their last five going 3-0-2 and are looking for revenge of a home loss to these same BRUINS on 12/13, just 17 days ago. Look for the SENATORS to score early and often in this one and beat the suddenly inept BRUINS by at least two goals. I'm seeing a 4-1 Final.

Phila at ST LOUIS

ST LOUIS wins this game easy.... PHILLY is not the same team on the road as at home and there is no way they win tonite on B to B games. STL is in the same situation, but are returning home after a road win to a very comfortable 12-2-3 record and facing a FLYERS team who is struggling thru a huge 8 game road trip that saw them go from NY to COLORADO to DALLAS and now to STL in less than a week. Coming off the ROCKY MTN high a few nites ago and not getting rest, having played in DALLAS last nite will definitely affect this team. PHILA will have nothing and STL will breeze to a big win here. Easy win as PHILLY will sing the blues when this one is done.

Minnesota at EDMONTON

WILD are playing great right now and OILERS are struggling. Seems like an easy play on the WILD, but I'm not buying into it. This game could set up a bad back to back beat scenario for the everyday gambler, whereas I think I have the opposite approach which should prove profitable. These two match up again on JAN 2nd and that is where MINNESOTA will go wild. Tonite, look for a low scoring game and EDM winning 2-1. Come back in three days and play the WILD to get revenge at home and continue the HOT STREAK, but tonite, it's EDMONTON.

NY Rangers at LOS ANGELES

Love the KINGS and OVER here. RANGERS played last night in PHOENIX getting a 3-2 win and come to LA where the KINGS have been waiting for three days after a back to back with the SHARKS, their rival from up north. KINGS are giving up and scoring alot of goals lately and I don't see that ending tonite. MESSIER and Co are playing well, and I think we'll get at least 7 goals in this game tonite. LA is a tight race with SAN JOSE and needs this game badly. I think you'll see a huge effort out of this club and we will at worst get a split out these two plays. I'm very confident we sweep this one and get both for a huge 4 UNITS. I can't see LA losing this game with this much rest and in the midst of such a tight race. Look for LA to be KING tonite in STAPLES!

HEY Rander....just wanted to say i am somewhat of a new poster here but i was lurking for awhile.....I used to love your posts in NHL and NBA halftime....you always seemed to give very good analysis on your plays and i tailed you for awhile...until you stopped posting :shrug:
anyways glad to see you back posting and hope to see you in the nba ht thread as well GOOD LUCK

Hey Rex...

thanks for the compliment... it's been awhile I know. I grew tired of the crap for awhile. It seems NOBODY is appreciated around here til they leave or go pay. It got old... The NBA HT thread is a favorite of mine, but I was told I was "old news" and not needed, so I've avoided it. The new year is coming, I've discovered a few more hours in my day to do what I love, so hopefully I'm back to cap for awhile. Who knows... :shrug:

I'm gonna try capping each day and see how it works, but no promises. IE is the most consistent capper on the whole site, so if you want to make money consistently, just click on FREE PICKS and follow IE.... he's the best INVESTMENT on the net if you ask me~!
