This week 7-1

YTD 20-15-3 (+1.35 units)

Tonight, I like:

Boston/NY Rangers over 5.5, -130 - As I said last night, the Rangers best defense is their offense.

St. Louis -.5, -110 - Blues are hot, plus the "number" is low.

Vancouver/Dallas over 5.5, -120 - Vancouver starting a rookie goalie (Auld), Dallas coming off of a 5 goal game

Can you confirm Auld. I know first hand, that his own team thinks he is terrible, he cant stop a puck in practice.

Like Tex said, even if it is Skruda , I like the over. Cloutier (ankle) and Skruda (undisclosed) are injured and the team seems to have lost all confidence in Brochu, so Auld is the choice. Although, in the NHL it is hard to confirm anything.

Great job last night, Kono. 3-0 if my math is right. ;)

Boy, our Caps really stunk it up in the 3rd period last night. Wilson called the defensive effort "disgusting." All four goals came within 1-2 feet of the net.

I noticed that Kolzig has played in 9 straight games, including 3 straight back to backs. He'll be nice and worn out by the time the playoffs start, if by some chance they make it in.

Thanks for the kind words Sports Junkie. You are correct 3-0 last night, and 10-1 for the week.

As far as Kolzig goes, he will be good and worn out by the time the playoffs start. Just hope he will be a part of them. I do, however, think that Billington would have started vs. Atlanta, but he had a touch of the flu. They get Dahlen and Jagr back and lose Halpern and Fortin. Who will they be losing when Konowalchuk comes back, I can't wait.
