Pudge has been awful tonight, but the team as a whole has been awful too. Easily the worst team in baseball right now. That vaunted offense that everyone is in love with is getting absolutely dominated by Blackburn. Gonna be 2-11 after this one. :scared
unfortunately they won't.
they will get it together no matter how bad they look now.
the problem is too many latin americans that hate the cold. i think i read they've only played one game where the average temperature was above 50 degrees.
polanco, ordonez, cabrera, guillen, renteria, and rodriguez are all "warm weather" players.
that's six of your starters. plus you have jaque jones who can kill any team.
granderson hurt is a big minus. anytime you lose your lead off hitter thas a big minus.
their pitching staff has been off to a slow start, and i hate jones at the end of the game.
with that said, as i type they scored a run, and i hope they finish last like you said, but unfortunately they will be good bet in the coming months.
