Good question Hawk!! How Does DePaul not have a top named coach or even find one of the likes of Ray Meyer and Joey Meyer? Albeit they got some under the table cash rewards for keeping some local kids at home, ie., Cummings, Aguire, and brought in a kid that is now coaching in the NBA, shaking my head at that fact too in Corbin!!
Maybe Purnell can find another job after DePaul cans him like Mike Davis did, former Indiana HC, he is now in the SWAC somewhere and doing just as bad a job there as he did at Indiana.

The Purnell Error, I man Era has proven to be more painful to watch than either the Kennedy or Wainwright years, and that is saying something. At the time he was hired, DePaul made him the 6th highest paid coach in the nation based solely on base salary. Just ridiculous.
