I?ve been a soft-core hockey fan for years. I went to my third game of the season last night (Mar. 7). The local Predators took on the Wild. Debatably, these are the best and worst nicknames in sports but that is another post. Hockey is %300 better live than on the tube. In comparison to Football that has equal benefits to watching it at home and being there. In hockey there is no comparison. The fast action game of hockey that has now been sped up to produce less down-time is great. The plays away from the puck, the chip and cheap shots that aren?t shown on camera, the strategy, and movement without the puck make the game an ?event? on ice.

For those who have stated that NASCAR is their ?sport? of choice outside of football, I invite you to a hockey game. This is real sport. No motors just athletes. Better yet, watch NASCAR at home and go out to a hockey game. The best of both worlds.

in terms of action, there is no sport out there that gets you pumped like hockey does....

if you have been watching the Toronto Maple Leafs play their 2 last games, you'll know what I mean...

Sorry bud, I guess you misunderstood me...

What i am trying to say is that if you saw the last 2 games that the Leafs played, you would have enjoyed it as it was action packed with many fights and hard hits.

When the Leafs played Ottawa on Thursday one of the leafs players attacked the Ottawa bench all by himself resulting in a fight m?l?e.


You should have seen the blood...

April 5th 2003 Ottawa versus Toronto........

trust me Blazer..........watch that game..............that's going to be an absolute battle Will probably be one of the best games of the year....these two teams absolutely hate each other....

don't forget that Date......APRIL 5th

I still have memories of watching the Blackhawks play the North Stars at the Met Center in Bloomington when I was younger.... blows away any Badger football game I ever saw at Camp Randall, and trust me, coming from me, that is really saying something!
