Question about Home Plate Umpire information

Does anyone out there know if there is any way to tell who the Homeplate Ump is going to be earlier than normal? I mean is there a rotation with the crew in any particular way? I know NSS lists the Umpires every once in a while on their site but not always....usually have to check around 10 min. prior to the start of the game.

Any help is appreciated.

www.covers.com under RESOURCES will have it in the morning, just check under MLB and the particular game you want. They also have an UMPIRE section which is helpful. I believe, but someone may correct me, but the 1B UMP goes behind the plate, HP to 3rd, etc... In the boxscores in the newspaper, it's usually the 2nd UMP listed who ends up behind the plate the next day.

Rander....Thanks for the info. I guess I never really looked at if thats how the rotation goes. I'm definately gonna scope it out.
