Ive been goin thru my brothers bookie to place bets but last week he was on the golfcourse and I missed a nice 2 team parlay win because I couldnt get the bet in. I know alot of you folks have online betting accts so I have a few questions. Is this "legal" or are there risks involved if I use one of these offshore sites? Also which sites are the most user friendly and easy to navigate thru ? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance fellas.

Internet gambling is easier than using a bookie. I use sportsbook, but many others here use multiple accounts to search for the best lines. I don't think there is any legal risk of doing. Authorities are more intersted in busting the people taking bets than the people making them.

Emerson if you feel these games are shady you need to get the best book and best lines for what you need. Right now guys have given you great books with terrible lines. You want good dog lines.

Are you under the impression that using a local bookie is legal? You must be one of the rare posters outside of Nevada? It actually might be legal if the "book" is playing golf on a weekend during fball season because you are probably her only client. That being the case, you might want to suggest that she allow you to place them on her v-mail -its time stamped. She may be reluctant though. It sounds like you may be laying heavy action on steam/syndicate plays and it could jeopordize the financial solvency of the entire operation

If that is the case, you may want explore your offshore options.

I am aware that using a local bookie is illegal. Why you think mine is a female I have no clue. I just cant get in touch when I really need to so yes I will explore an offshore book.Im going to try Bet Jamaica for a few weeks and see if I like it. Another question. Why does Vegas offer sports betting but Atlantic City or other betting tracks do not? I live in south Jersey and it would be cool if I could go to Trump Marina have a few beers and watch games and place wagers. Any ideas why its only offered in Vegas?

Maybe cause anything goes in Vegas.
I go at least 4-5 times a yr

I lived in VA for a long time. The reason I barely went to A.C is because of no sports betting.

BTW
Tijuana has a sportsbook thats legal.
We go a few times a year.
3 yrs ago we hit a trifecta for $8500 .
They kicked us out after they paid us .
I guess we were lucky to get any $$$.

Peanuts & Beer really loved us that night.
We blew about $3k in the place.
What those girls will do for $$$

What happens in Tijuana stays in Tijuana. I did a little research and it seems that some of the casino owners and lawyers are pushing for sports betting to be legalized and they do have some legislators in thier corner but it has to be voted on and from what Im reading it will be legalized at some point and a % of the profit will go towards Senior citizen programs. They must know that people are already placing sports wagers legal or not so what is the holdup?
