How many of you would have let the saints score immediately the last drive. I mean just let them score so that you could get the ball back and let your offense control if you win or not? Based on th second half, the eagles couldnt stop the saints for 14 guys.

Comment - is it just me or doesn't any defensive coordinator understand you can not give an NFL QB time to throw the ball. Watching the same shit and they let these QB's sit in there without pressure. Why not blitz and pressure the QB to make quicker decisions and mistakes.

Just doesnt make sense.

Cinci - great defense. That fake blitz is really working. Bunch of idiots for coaches. Keep doing the same thing, it will eventually work:

Funny when Cinci is pressured, they can't do shit. As I type pick almost 6 because of pressure. See ya cinci

In the last 10-15 years hasn't that scenario taken place a couple times? Did it ever work out for the team allowing the late score? Hindsight is always 20/20 but I would've played it just as the Eagles did and hope to strip the football or block the field goal at the end. But that's just me :shrug:

So with 4 plus minutes penalty puts the ball on the 50 and eagles can't stop the saints the entire second half, you let them run out the clock, and kick a field goal to win the game. no 20 / 20, just said it yesterday and my buddy staid you were right, they ran the clock out and kicked the field goal.

Bottom line is the defense didnt stop them the entire second half, not even close.
