I am just looking for some input as to how other players handle these large 100 game college cards. I like to pare down the number of games. My average play is a nickel, and I don't like to have too much going at one time. What I do is get a list of games I have good feelings on. Then I research and throw some out. Finally, I look at public numbers on consensus sites and throw the heavy public plays out (there usually aren't that many, I have a think for picking stinky plays).

The problem is that even after that, I still have a large number of plays. For example, at this stage, I had 13 plays today. I did not want to spread out 6500 on those, so I cut down further to 8 plays. The problem arose, however, when the 5 plays I didn't play went 5 and 0.

So now I am left with 3 and 4 (with screws on Hofstra and Pitt) with Oregano St. pending.

I guess my question is, how do others deal with these big big cards to make it into something reasonable.

Thanks for anyone who answers. Best of luck to everyone.

i have my plays down like you. when i have 13 plays on the card i play the clock.

that is, i place my early games and if they are looking solid i lay off later games.

if early games are hurting, i play more of the later games as the day progresses.

Very good question...........and I don't care when anybody says...there is no right answer:rolleyes:

I myself sometimes just say screw it.....and just place a 4 or 5 team parlay and then triple up on the game I most confident on.

Yes I know that's not what ya wanted to hear....but hey just some input:shrug:

And my sports are tennis and hockey.....add that to the other sports....it always seems that there's "lots of games":canada1

but hey......can always just play a 13 game parlay....that will solve all your problems:thefinger

Treat every game independent from each other. Take what is dealt, everytime, all the time.

Really doesn't matter if you play one, two, three, or twenty games. If you handicapping is solid, and you've done the research to come to the conclusion that its a good play. Lay it.

Today, for instance, Ive only had five plays in college hoops. Its what the 'card' panned out from some 100 games or so. On a smaller projected card from Monday there may be twice as many plays. Has nothing to do with card size, has everything to do with value.

If you play for action, thats an entirely different discussion. One which I would have no input in, nor do I think is the case here.

If having that kind of currency "floating" makes you uncomfortable, Id suggest reducing your unit size to something more sufficient. Above all, stick with what works for you.
