When you post your picks are you betting WPS or just wins? Do you bet each race equally? Sorry if this has been asked before.

Currently I post for Contests. I don't pick the tracks or the races. Some are concerned only with winners while others are for price or dollar amount.
I do hit the OTB at Del Mar, maybe twice a month with $60 each trip. I'll have a race I like and I put $10 across soon as I walk in the door at least 8/1. Somewhere in the races I post, I'll put $10 across on a 8/1 minimum. Lose, I go home, win, half goes on another 8/1 minimum. Lose, I go home, win, half goes on another 8/1 minimum. Never hit 3 in arow. Sort of lose a little win alot.
Pros bet chalk to place rather than win to show a more consistent profit.
A more prudent bet would probably be 10/20/30 and go home no matter what. A gambler would pop the 60 and go home. If I go to bet, I want to know who you like as well. Be lucky!
