When a team plays high scoring OT game the night before, as in the case with LA, are they more likely to be in a high scoring game again??

One theory is a fatigued team shows in on the defensive end first....not sure if this rings true in the NBA.

215 seems high & I wanted to go UNDER the total, but curious for some input....

....but the other theory is that

their shooting is affected the most. I am trying to determine what the pace is going to be. This is not the Melo Nuggets tonight - Iverson will control the tempo.

The Lake Show in the last three years.....

off an road win scoring 110 or more points...3/7 O/U

after a game where both teams scored 105 points or more...12/17 O/U

after scoring 120 points or more....1/4 O/U

after a game where they made 12 or more 3 point shots...28/27 O/U

Thanks IO -

I just dont see a "217" pace tonight - yea the Nuggets push it, but with Iverson and Boykins the only real scorers right now. Not sure what you did, but hopefully for my sake it hits under

Don't take too much stock in trends.:nono:

You can see what it does for the "NBA" genius of the board:com:

Each game is a separate entity to it's own.

Unfortunately, this has a distinct OVER pace to it, which would sum up my day. Been a rough one losing Niagara & losing Minny which I had reversed w/ Dallas.

an "over" pace it was

an "over" pace it was

that was ugly - Denver didn't even try to keep them out of the paint - layup after layup after layup. Well, there is always another day. I am watching the Memphis's O/U's - right now. They are running and the last two games Vegas hasn't posted the number high enough (last night O/U was 213). If Memphis can find a little bit of success in these next few which will keep them running, that 1/15 game vs Phoenix could be in the 260's
