Nolan,

A quick question about this system. Last week the system gave you 5 picks. Since you're using a scoring differential, how did you determine a cutoff point? In other words, what was it about the "6th" game that made you not include it in your weekly picks? Just wondering if this cutoff was pre-determined by yourself, or if week to week you will adjust it as you go along. I ask this because you mentioned getting about 3 picks each week but came up with 5 for this first week.

Also, if I recall, last week you gave the 5 picks but didnt say which had the biggest differential? Maybe you did and I just missed it. So I am curious, can you give us the picks from strongest to "weakest"?? I will be curious to see as the year goes on what the accumulative records are for the top pick as opposed to the 3rd or 4th pick.

Thanks.

I'll try and give a more detailed rundown of the plays this week. I will also explain how Goldman makes the cutoff decision on four games versus five, and so forth. Since it would take some time to type up and I prefer to gather my thoughts and put it in the daily report, I kindly ask that you see Friday's report for what I believe will be a satsifactory answer to your questions. You are quite right that we want to maximize the potential of this system.
