question for the math guys

had some loose change in one of my accounts and played a 9 teamer with some good-sized ML dogs- well the first one hit last night with Northern Arizona +600 so I am curious of the following:

how many different 8 team parlay combinations can be made from 8 games, 7 from 7, 6 from 6, etc, and if/how is that displayed in a formula. I'm curious to see what hedging potential there is and if I've knocked the odds into my favor with the big ML dog hitting on the 1st play

TIA

Re: question for the math guys

Ya got 256 8-team combinations......128 7-team.....64 6-team.....basically with n-teams, 2 raised to the n power of possible parlays.

A 2 team parlay has only one combo. Glad to be of service, sir.

don't you have some sick, tasteless cancer survivor jokes to work on?

and a 2 team parlay has 4 possible combinations, Einstein. Stick to your training in giving 2 quarters back for a dollar received and ending with 'Have a nice day- drive safe'
