Hello! Are there any internet terminals available anywhere in town for the public? I want to visit a sportsbook and want to use the internet to handicap, just like I do at home. I'd appreciate any responses.

Stayed at treasure island & rented this internet access through the T.V. 3.00 hr. or 10.00 a day. Used it one day really hard for me go with any speed. Other tthan that I would think the public library. GL

Most of your resorts have them on tv in your room and other places have business center in the hotel you can use for free and if you have a laptop all places have data ports to plug into for free, and also have net cafes a few on the strip one is right by the aladdin and the polo towers but it is like 15 bucks for 1 hour , your room should have it on tv.

Kansas City area for who knows how long....
internet access

internet access

I've seen several internet kiosks. Downtown they have them at El Cortez, Las Vegas Club (just down hallway from sportsbook! the only book in NV that offers a 2 runline in MLB), the Plaza, and a few shops on Fremont.

on the strip I use the internet cafe by Polo towers. All these run about $15/hr. For a quick and free look, if I'm strolling near Venetian area of strip, I pretend to be trying out the hardware at the Apple store in Fashion Show Mall.

Longer use---UNLV main library you can use for hours in off peak times (don't go during busy afternoons) for free, just have to get a guest card--library is 12 minute stroll from Hard Rock Casino (which is a free shuttle ride from Ceasars, Stardust, or Harley Cafe by Alladin). On Maryland Parkway above Kinkos across from campus is a cybershop that has T1 connections for mere $2 an hour (open 11 in morning to about 2am at night). A free wifi coffee shop is down the road one block.

Or I'll haul a laptop to Kinkos (downtown or campus). Free ethernet with your laptop. You can get old toshiba laptops for $100, get nic and wireless card, and ready to go!

or find Hotel offering free ethernet or wifi
