Randy Johnson is leaving the diamondbacks, will he become a yankee and do you want him?

I love the O's, know he's going to ny. Now I'll have to hate him too. :cursin:

i don't know if he will become a yankee, but of course they want him.

the yanks are not built for the post-season because of their questionable starting pitching.

johnson will help but it doesn't guarantee anything.

as of right now, i like okland or boston to win it all.

your team also needs starting pitching because their hitting is pretty good.

do you think mazzilli will be fired ?

yeah, I think maz's days are numbered. Angelos doesn't put up with losing like this. Actually I don't think they're playing that badly with the pitching they have, Ponson major disappointment (5-12 5.93) they are hitting the ball pretty well, tejada leading the way (20, 92, .316) but the bottom line is 10 games under .500
my pick for the world series is St. Louis, nice all around team. But the yankees still scare me, they'll get johnson, and they'll pick up McGriff who was just released with Giambi still down.

I love the Yankee's but unless they can involve a 3rd team into the deal I dont think it is going to happen! The Yank's farm system may be the worst in baseball and the Dbacks wants some young impact players which the Yanks lack at both Columbus and Trenton! The scuttlebitt is that the Yankee's are trying to involve the Cubs as the third team as they have a solid minor league system!
