question on updating team power rankings

I started out the year with some team power rankings, and for the most part the have been pretty accurate.

Here we are 2+ weeks into the season and i want to update them some.

Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions on a method i can use for updating? I would like to keep the arbitrariness out of it until i get a better feel for using them.

Thats an interesting topic. I really only use Pom's numbers for some teams I have not seen with my own two eyes. To me there is no substitute for observing a couple of conferences up close and getting out to see teams play live.

I really can't help you but also would be interested to see how some tweak their numbers.
