Does anyone have any stats for unranked home favorites over ranked teams , especially top 10? I know it is a good % in both college football and college basketball (bball i think around 70%)

Looking to reinforce my Auburn play.
It is one of those games where I say to myself,
"Vegas must know something." They are the favorite for a reason.
Hoping "public" goes with Vols
Gotta go with Auburn here.

Thanks and good luck to all

I can only remember a few off the top of my head, so I may have missed one or two...

W-8/30 NEBRASKA-7.5 over Oklahoma St(#19 or 20 something)

L-9/20 TEX A&M-1.5 at open line but +1.5 at close
L-Bama opened at a pick vs. ark #14 (not counting)
L-some other close ones at +1/+2 like psu lw vs. min#20

W-OR ST-6 over #23 AZ ST (az st was in one of the polls still, but not the other)

I was hoping Utah & Ucla would be favored this week to fit the system.

I'd stick to the unranked home team as long as they are a fav of one point or more at closing line time vs. a top 25 ranked road team.

AUBURN-1 fits if they remain the favorite. The radar is ready to receive UCLA & UTAH, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. I still like to keep an eye on those low and close pick'em lines for the top 25 for go-against purposes. I think Utah & Ucla cover this week since there was some value from a very similar situation with ranked pitt & ark on the road covering last week as low favs.

The best games are ones like NEB-7.5 or OR ST-6.5 this year, but there will be ones where you really have to grab your nuts and throw your wad down on the ugly coyote... like AUBURN. Come to think of it, nobody was really excited backing NEB or OR ST at the time.

Anybody else have some info on this ranked vs unranked fave system? It does do better in college hoops, and there are several more in a cbb season vs. a cfb season. Looking forward to more. Later!

johnny,
I don't have those stats, but a point of interest in this game is that Mark Lawrence's PlayBook is 5-0 so far on their 5 star colg games....this week AUBURN is their 5 star play in colg.
