Has anyone here played football at the highschool/college/pro level when it feels like zero outside, and the winds are 25 m.p.h.? will they even be able to throw the ball with any accuracy?

I'm thinking Browns + the points and under whatever the total is...

14-7 type final???

Thoughts???

a wind speed of 18mph and over effects the movement of a fb, a field freezes at 24 degrees and ball at 28 degrees, i played in a state championship game at 15 degrees it sucked .played baseball in hs and minors a few times when it was just under 40 and it sucked also but nothing like fb and have and had family members coach d1 and in nfl have been to many of cold games and trust me it sucks and wind makes a huge differencr in game plan, also frozen anything screws game up, browns field sucks anyway so might be even worse get tore up some then freeze.

in hs and D3, i played on some very bad teams. let me tell you, the cold will affect bad teams more. unless the browns get a big break early in the game, their mindset will be something along the lines of 'why the fuck am i out here in this shit?' especially since most football players these days are from warm weather locations.

as a wide receiver/tight end, i can also tell you that it's hard to catch the ball in these conditions. you throw in all the other factors, and now your hands are cold and the ball is moving in the wind... not easy.
