I just found out that a friend of mine drowned back on may 30th in Florida. He attempted to rescue 2 young girls in the ocean. A true hero.

I was told Alex Rodriguez attended the ceremony as well as they were good friends. I will post several pictures tomorrow of his funeral card.

Very sad. I wish there were more brave men and women like these two. The word 'heroic' is used too often, but these two really were.

very touching and very sad at the same time. The world is down one more hero now........all thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
