...sorry to be a pest (and dummy) but you posted this line in response to my ques in LOB thread YD:

"Game 1= 13 wins (keep in mind,I play dogs +1 1/2 runs for the first two games of the chase)"

you are saying you play the +1 1/2 for a homestand dog team BUT only for 2 plays and then you call it loss and move on if both game 1 &2 are losses or do you continue to chase thru 6 games? (in theory)
thanks,
doog

ps I am looking to chase the r/l because my bankroll is not healthy enough for the XL o/u system so I just want to be sure I know what I am doing.

doogieboy,

it's okay to ask questions bud...

re: the totals systems, I understand the thin bankroll concept, consider reducing the amt you are trying to win...
You have to do your own math, but try to figure it to win if you can carry it out to 3 bets, and there are times to pass on a bet... like the Yanks under lately...

re: runlines... I'm not exactly sure if that meant he stopped after 2 bets either...
I think if you can take it to 3 bets, hm tms don't get swept that often... (careful Stanky Yankees today! lol) :nono:

but I do think +1.5 runs is a safer method for homedogs.... you can always throw a little on the moneyline
We know every team will win at least about 60 gms (usually 40+ @ home), no matter how sh***y they appear to be.

when a team is a homedog (the Nats will almost always be homedogs), you can put a little on the ml and a little on + 1.5 rl...
Example: w/small bankroll, I'd play like $20 on ml, and $10 on rl, or vice versa... and be able to do that again the next day...
You can get about 10 units/wk if u can stay away from the big losses on bets # 4 and beyond...

It seems the Nats are the worst team (so far) so be careful trying to play them to cover r/l... but at +1.5, it's alot safer and they will get wins at home... eventually lol
object is to try to get a win w/o laying much juice for every homestand of 6 gms or longer...

the r/l is not always plus money either... Yanks today are -120.... I will lay it on them today after their embarrassing loss y-day.
Juice will get worse as teams begin to separate themselves in the standings. Later in the season, I imagine the Yanks rl (at home) will be laying -50 quite often vs. the lesser teams...

hope this helps...

As usual LoB with great info...thanks. I'm saying that if a home dog (+ 1 1/2 runs) covers the r/l in the first two games I'm counting it as a winner....after that they have to win by 2 (whether they were + the runs or not).......not saying that I chase all of these, just posting what the record would be and what the plays are....hope this helps, any others questions feel free to ask.....good luck to all.

Thanks guys, I am clear now.

LOB, I can go to 3 games for sure, it just hurts to go much furthur. I should prolly just roll with it. I was going to narrow my plays (only play the r/l)cause it is so much to keep up with and with the hours I work, I'm already at work when you guys post and of I do not have access to the offshore outlets from work. Thanks for all you do.

McV, I assumed that is what you meant and think that is good way to play. I just wasn't sure if you continued to chase that team IF they lost the first two at +1 1/2. Now I'm staight.
