We may have turned the corner on weather, been a pretty cold January with more rain than I have seen in 5 years of wintering here.
There were actually mushrooms growing in my neighbors yard!
Sunny and 70's all week sounds really good to me. Discovered nearby Lorenzi Park..lakes, geese, coots, ducks, fishing 3 miles way.
No real new restaurants to report, kinda relaxing and enjoying the places we know as favorites. Someone wise once said, "Contentment is the key to happiness"
My friend Dave came out for a week and it was balls to the wall gamblin, eating, and a nude bar. Going to take a couple days to
recover.
Little Darling's is a naked strip club near Charleston and Western, about 5 miles from the strip. My wife was nice enough to let a couple of old "harmless married guys" check it out.
Totally nude is ok in Vegas if there is no alcohol....topless has alcoholic beverages,"Different Strokes" pardon the pun.
I have frequented strip clubs, burlesque clubs since the late 1960's
probably have seen it all, and then some.
We went around 6 pm Monday, it was happy hour, half price admission was $11.00, included all the soda you wanted. They had Red Bulls, other non-alcoholic stuff for 5-6 bux. Smoking was allowed.
Looks like they had a recent remodel, pretty nice inside, 20 foot poles were a plus. A few of the dancers really put it to use without a safety net. Most dancers put their hearts into it and made it fun.
A lot has changed since my last visit to a nudie bar, near the stage was
TV screens flashing ads and a hotline number for Sex Trafficking and morality messages explaining how wrong it was.
Being "happy hour" there was only a few dancers for the crowd of maybe 7 men, after 9pm things were hopping with maybe a dozen dancers of all descriptions, black, white, hispanic, asian, big curvy blond with big $7000 boobs, chunky, slender, some could actually carry on an intelligent conversation.
There was very little pressure to buy dances, I liked that.
Private nude dances in the back with some decent 2 way contact were $20, once an hour
they had 2 for $20. VIP rooms were priced by what you expected and could negotiate with your dancer....($40 to whatever)
Turns out it was "couple nite"
I saw more than one wife fall in love and disappear with a dancer.
The high lite of the evening for me was when a 60 yr old something women
negotiated a deal probably for her FATHER who came in barely shuffling a walker. This fella had to be 85 easy, we thought it was Larry Flynt of Hustler fame....
He disappeared with a "lucky" dancer for about 15 minutes and left.
I really felt old when I found out Thursday was "Throwback music nite, sounds of the 80's and 90's"
Guess 60's-70's music would have been "Dynamic Dinosaur Nite"
All and all, a good experience for the little bit of money, would recommend it if you want to get a good look.
Oh yeah, they had "Hookahs"...guess thats the new "in" thing?
