TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS +2 (Monday) - The Buccaneers have probably defended the Rams better than any other team in the NFL in recent season. They have held the Showtime offense to 17 points or less in 3 of the last 4 head-to-head meetings. Compound this with the fact that the Rams appear to be out of sync on offense right now, and I see no reason why Tampa Bay can?t contain them again, especially in front of a lively Monday night home crowd. On the other side of the ball, the Rams defense is allowing an uncharacteristic 9.0 yards per pass in the first 2 games. While the Bucs receivers aren?t of the breakaway speed variety, they are all fine possession receivers that should have some success vs. this Rams unit. If RB Michael Pittman could have just a decent game on the ground, that just may be enough for Tampa Bay to pull off the mild upset.
