Virginia -16.5 should crush Belmont. Realize Belmont had the miraculous win against Murray State, but this spread should be much higher like 21 at least. Belmont will be lucky to score 35 and this is the worst Belmont club in years.
Baylor -8 vs. Georgia State - Coach hurts himself today after they scored 38 points for the win by 2 points vs a club they had just spanked by 17 recently. Baylor wins by 15+ as Gathers will grab 20 rebounds alone.
Eastern Washington +8.5 vs. Georgetown - Major concern is how does EWU handle Josh Smith? Otherwise, this team has extreme poise and looks like a tough mid-major and Hoyas have been know to exit early.
Pundits like SF Austin, but could see them getting crushed by Utah. Utes were a solid 3 seed as recently as 2 weeks ago and don't see them bowing out this early and only -6.5... still not sure I would pull the trigger, but line could drop and then I'll take the Utes.
Dayton -3.5 vs. Boise State - Tough to not like Flyers on their home court, I mean the court they play every game and with a crazy crowd and rarely lose. Realize teams are even on a neutral court, but I think home court is worth 5-6 points in this contest.
Villanova -22 vs. Lafayette - Sure it's a lot of points, but this is an extreme mismatch. Wildcats are a legit final 4 pick and should roll!
Wichita State -5 vs. Indiana - A lot of tourney experience for the Shockers and extremely horrid seeding for them (Thought they would be a 5 seed at least). They barely lost @ Utah in OT and lost @ Northern Iowa, but should have a ton of fans in Omaha which isn't a long drive. Only concern is they look-ahead to Kansas on the horizon.
New Mexico St +12 vs. Kansas - Just feel like KU is struggling right now. Ellis is playing hurt and it shows. Oubre and Selden are terribly inconsistent. New Mexico State has the 25 year old 6-10 270 pound center who can bang plus they can drill treys. Could be a potential 15 vs. 2 upset.
