Reasons: I see many many people on calgary tonight, hardly any on rangers, but line has not moved. Second, many of these posters across forums are losing at nhl. Third, my own home/away ratings favor rangers. 4th: backup, prior mainstay, McClennan is in net now. While capable, Kiprusoff was dominating and largely responsible for the flames good run. Now out, it is not coincidental that calg has last 2 in a row. its hard to win when you barely ave more than 2 goals a game (see Carolina) unless you get standout performances EVERY night by goalie. Jamie can't do that. Finally, one area of weakness for NYR is the fact they give up a lot of PP opps...but calgary is not good at the power play, and is suffering some injuries to boot. Last--the puckline saves 35-45 cents and both ranger and flame games rarely end in ties.
Other plays: DET -.5 -180 and Tor -.5 -175
Chalky, yes: but det's home record and triple revenge make price seem cheap. Pit horrendous. Tor skidding after streak but this is what the doctor ordered. Pit loses to good teams...
