TEXAS RANGERS +105 ? The Royals look like a terrible favorite in this spot, as they are they have lost 3 in a row and 4 out of 5, and they are now a dismal 16-29 on the year. Affeldt has yet to go more than 5.2 innings in any of his starts, which means that we will most likely see the gas can known as the Royals bullpen. The Kansas City pen has a poor ERA of 5.72 this season, along with an unimpressive WHIP of 1.59. Also, KC is just 1-3 in Affeltd?s 4 starts. We have never been big fans of Burba, but he has been pitching quite capably, with a 3-1 record and a good 1.32 WHIP. The Rangers have won 4 of Burba?s last 5 starts. Finally, there is no comparison offensively, as Texas has a team batting average of .270 in the last 10 games, while the Royals are hitting just .237 over that same stretch.
