Ok i will indulge you, b/c i’ve studied this offense this year.
They are literally last (or bot 3 in all mlb) in hits, runs, ops, obp, you name it.
Mid april they started a 3 gm set with the dodgers at home. They scored 4 runs in 3 gms and got shut out 2x
That started a really bad stretch where they only scored over 2 runs in only 4 of 16 games, two of those were an 8-5 win at oak, then 15-2 vs sea exactly a week later, then 8-1 vs seattle on 5/4. In the span, they 5-11, getting shutout 4x held to 1 run 5 times, and lost 3-2 3x, including two straight games to lose the series at SF, both games they led and got walked off bot 9, 3-2. I was betting texas under 3.5 every game for a while. Its ok if you get blasted by a 15-6 outburst once a week lol.
True story - seager had the 6th best odds to win AL MVP three days ago.
In what world is anyone from the lineup getting a last place mvp vote???
Its a joke judge is -1100 on may 9 for mvp. Absolutely insane. Im not saying these guys win, but bobby chitt junior and bregman are better options given the price. Judge isnt hitting 400 and the markets not discounting that. Whole other story
Anyway, the bet was based on the game being fairly low scoring. Detroits a better offense away from home. But to be fair tops in all those categories i just said texas is AL worst in and bottom 3 in mlb
