I agree. Fg was a joke.Don't get me wrong . I'm not a sore loser but to send a message to your team that you QUIT was wrong. What good is the 3 pts. A failed fourth down would have given you the same result.BUT , a conversion and a TD plus 2 with 8 minutes to go and you are still in it. Crazier things have happened in the NFL.What do you tell you team on the plane ride home?Hey guys at least we scored? I never saw give up in Wannstat , or however you spell it , before.

I feel your pain. I was on a serious role for the last 2 weeks. I loved this game tonight and played GB for 5 units and the over 41- for 5 units. I also teased the game GB+3 and over 34-. Then at halftime I played GB -3.

Final score of 24-10 screwed my teaser and the easy(?) GB second half bet!!

I hate it when I start the week in the hole!!

Thanks for providing a thread to vent.

I also had GB at halftime and feel the pain. What pissed me off the most is how GB let Miami score that td so easily but then on Miami's final possesion, they went all out and sacked Lucas three times. I don't believe in fixed NFL games but I don't understand the difference in effort given by the Packers defense.

Munson, I was thinking (screaming) the same thing when Miami marched right down for the easy TD to screw the 2nd half play. Them Miami gets the ball back and I'm thinking my teaser over of 34- is going to hit. Then, the Pack clamps down and plays D!!!!

Tomorrow is another day.

Going for a td that does not matter. I wish that Ray Lucas would of got hurt it would have served the fins coaching staff right. I can never get the back door like that. :thefinger :thefinger :thefinger :thefinger :thefinger :thefinger

I read today where Lucas is now "questionable" for this Sunday. Too bad he didn't hurt it bad enough to be "doubtful" or "out". I don't really wish bad health to anyone but Wannstedt deserves some payback. At the earliest, he should have pulled Lucas after throwing the interception for a td. At the latest, it should have been after they scored the field goal and avoided the shutout. How stupid to play an injured 2nd string qb when it does not matter. Fiedler is still out two more weeks and an injury to Lucas means two automatic losses if he can't go (two probable losses if he does go :D ). I wish I could have heard Goldberg on the radio today in Miami and gotten a call out to him but instead I was out in the rain trying to garner votes for my uncle who was running for the state house.

Enough rambling I guess...the gods did pay me back some with two rare NBA wins tonight so all is not so bad.
