Sonics -1'...W
What a sleepy headed bunch those Sonics were through 3 yesterday! Everything shot up early was short and Brand ate Seattle up on the boards. However, the play was saved when the Clips went 20-24 for a 14 pt. 4th and the Sonics fortunately woke up from their slumber.
Definitely one we shoulda lost.....if ya want the truth! But chalk it up a W.

For tonight, I'm like'n the under 188 as Toronto goes to Atlanta.
Here's why......
-The linesmen have set this one a tad higher than these 2 teams seasonal scoring average to this point in the infant season (a +4 higher). Hawks are averaging 96 ppg and the Raps are at 87 which includes 2 games with Carter before he went down in their 3rd game vs. Houston.
-Since then the Raptors have struggled more often than not on the offensive end except for some of the defensively challenged opponents like: Chicago, Orlando and Dallas.
-Atlanta (not the best defensive team in the league) has played better than last year with Theo Ratliff's return. He will make Toronto work for their points tonight. The way he's rebounding I see many one-n-dones for the Raptors.
-Also, the linesmen have also set Atlanta at +14' which indicates they think the Toronto offense will struggle tonight. A Hawks blowout should help an under tonight.
-On the other hand......Tornoto's only hope is to d-up and avoid a shoot-out knowing they are somewhat challenged on the offensive end of the court. Alvin Williams summed things up after the loss to the Jazz yesterday saying, "We couldn't score and that's been a problem for us all season, plus we played poor defensively."
-Atlanta's defense could set up a big Hawks win.....the question is.....will it be intense enough to bring the under home tonight? I belive it will and without Carter look for Toronto to tighten things up defensively agianst the Hawks.
