...Rock Bottom, that is. Bet against this team in 4th Q's and 2H's every game for the forseeable future, except in cases where they are already getting smoked at the half, and I think you'll make yourself a lot of coin. What a joke this team has become.

So, what do the lottery prospects look like for next summer's draft? Oh wait, didn't the Raptors give up next year's first round pick as well as this past year's pick to Houston so we could get the much-needed Hakeem Olajuwan to solidify the team and provide leadership? LOL This guy will never retire...permanently takes up a spot on the injured reserve list and collects his pay... con man.

Well maybe the Raptors can beef up thru free-agency. Wait, they blew the wad and went from millions under the cap to maxed out, all in one summer of wild spending signing everyone to 7-year contracts. Then they can't afford Keon Clark when there's a cap adjustment and they lose him. Lose the only good defensive player they had (Childs, though he hasn't done squat in NJ). Vince is looking like he is going to be injury-plagued for his entire career until his premature retirement at age 27. Antonio Davis is starting to show his age too. JYD - looked great giving them that "spark" when things were going well, but looks like a hell of a bust when locked in til 2008 when he's only got average skills to begin with, and a shooting range of 1 foot (ie. dunks only). Morris Peterson for the most part has stunk and still doesn't play D. Team is relying on Alvin Williams and Voshon Lenard (whom ANY team could have signed 3 days prior to the regular season for the league minimum) to carry them.

Top it all off with an octagenarian coach who couldn't imagine ever getting upset with his players, or trying to light a fire under their asses. Legendary coach, or just OLD coach?

This team has really painted itself into a corner. This is the start of a very long downturn...it will take years for them to get back to respectability, if the city hasn't lost interest in them by then.

Thoroughly disgusted,

I didn't get to see the game, but did Alvin Williams get hurt early in the game? Only 11 minutes played...that didnt' help matters much.
