Don't post often in here, but spend a little time reading analyses from the greats in here, and you know who you are.

At any rate, one game is jumping off the page for me:

Fla -28.5

I would play this up to probably 35, as there is not any way to put up a line that would entice me to take Tennessee and feel good about it. Remember when Georgia had the entire team rush to the endzone after scoring against Fla in 2007? Remember how Fla handled it in 2008? Granted , covering 4+ scores is a taller order, but revenge is a dish best served cold, and they get to do it in the swamp. Lane Kiffin's antics after landing the Vol's HC job was one of those classic, mark your calendar, ready the bulletin board moments. Florida has had no problems with Tenn in the past, and spitting in the face of Superman has to be one of the worst. ideas. ever.

I had a great weekend, but didn't post any of it, so won't mention any of the details. Putting all of my eggs in one basket this week, as it is all about making a profit, and it may not be wise from a money management standpoint, but this one is a gift from the Gods of Vengeance.

Waiting for 1st half lines to come out to really ratchet it up. Til then, it is

Fla minus- whatever

On the face, this seems like a very odd play for someone that doesn't post plays often...but I like your thought process. If any team could walk out and just smoke a decent team, it is Florida. They are at home, they have the motivation, they have the QB. I might join you (albeit small).

I wouldn't be so quick to count out a Monte Kiffin defense. When has any team, at any level, blown out a MK defense that bad? Sure, all the factors are in play for Florida, and everybody is expecting UT blood on the field.

Then again, with UT's qb situation, there may not be much Monte can do as the UF defense will score at least once, maybe several times on it's own.

I also wouldn't pour it on too bad if I were UF... next year, Tebow + many future NFL players will be gone, UT's talent will be more mature, a bona fide revenge motive will be in play, plus it's at UT. UF gets a major shock in 2010.

Lane Kiffin called Urban Meyer a cheater, before the ink was dry on his contract. This will be a woodshed thrashing, where the master teaches the young gun about decorum.

A wise old dog player once told me three things can happen when you play the favorite, and two of 'em are bad.

I prefer playing dogs, for the same reason...they don't necessarily have to win, and if the favorite has the game in hand, and has no need to score other than to 'cover', then you are doomed.

This game is the exception. I have no concerns about the coaching staff showing mercy, or letting their foot off of the gas. It is a statement game.

Florida's avg margin of victory in SEC games during last year's nat'l title season was over 37 PPG. And they beat Tennessee 30-6 @ the checkerboard.

This was before the newbie coach promised victory and called Meyer a liar and a cheater.

Lord have mercy on the Vols, as it may be their only mercy shown.
