Red Sox [team stats] president Larry Lucchino announced on flagship station WEEI that today?s opener is postponed until tomorrow at 4:05 p.m. Lucchino stated that numerous weather services that the team employs had predicted a 100 percent chance of rain throughout the afternoon. The game will have a later start tomorrow due to anticipated rain the morning.
