Kazmir has been the Rays worst starter, yes, worse than even Sonnastine and Jackson, for the second half of the season. If Rays win, it will likely be late inning comeback, which is highly possible, but too much chalk in game 2 to consider Rays with Kazmir v. Buerhle.
I personally think Madden should pitch Garza in game 2 but maybe he thinks Kazmir has a better chance at pitching decent at home and has more confidence in Garza in the road. However, he will have a quick hook on Kazmir if he struggles and bring in the fireballer Price to settle things down. Would not surprise me if Rays make late inning comeback as they have done time after time at home, but I do not like the way Kazmir is pitching at all right now.
