Good morning,

I know a question has been asked a number of times to various handicappers what their record is or if they could post it. This is a hairy question, but certainly fair question.

For me, for the record, I SUCK at capping and can't cap if my life depended on it.

With that said, i sincerely appreciate all the time people put into posting. Not easy, time consuming, requires a talent, etc. I know you don't have to play anything if you don't want, but let's be honest here for a moment. The time and effort to cap is not easy, most of us can't cap, especially me. So i come here to get information and use it to make a wager. It a benefit to me that i sincerely appreciate, but man it would be helpful to see the records of the cappers who post picks. Who's on a hot streak, etc. if you're putting the time in and sharing the information which is greatly appreciated by me and i'm sure others, why not post a record. It's helpful to most anyone following cappers.

Just my opinion and not looking to start a a problem, but wish more of the talented cappers if not all would post their records.

Good luck today and for the rest of 2018.

I hear ya...I have kept a record for long stretches here and other stretches I haven't...Unfortunately for me I simply don't have the time to keep up with my records here at MJ's all the time...I really wish I did but I barely find the time to post half the time...I post at more than one location and in multiple if not most all sports...If I post all my plays that can be 20 cut and pastes a day many times while I am at work, on a cell phone, with time constraints before games start...I do make an effort to get games up as early as possible on my end simply because I have been on the other end where I was waiting for folks to post their plays and it is tough when they do it seconds before kickoff/tipoff...I always figure I would rather have someone post their plays than their record...The posters that I follow closely I keep spread sheets with their records for myself, I would suggest doing the same...Its not hard for me to go back at the end of the night or before work to see how certain people did and keep a record of it...takes very little time compared to keeping up with my record at on specific location...I keep very detailed records of myself in each sport with each system, I have pages and pages of records of myself...also should understand that my record here at MJ's is unique/different the my real record on account I don't post everything here...by no means am I writing this to start any trouble and I probably wont speak any further on the matter. I am not responding to say that my posts are the best ever. I win a fair amount more than I lose (by no means am I that good) and I go on win streaks or losing streaks just like we all do. I would like to think the plays I am posting are helping someone out there and that is why I do it. If I did it for bragging rights I would act like some of the ass clowns that let you know it when they have a winning night...I believe in keeping a cool stool and an even keel win or lose...I understand the question and I feel ya but if your that worried about someone's record start a spread sheet and keep your own records of folks...I have found when I do this I find capper's strengths and weaknesses which adds another filter to your own plays...hope this helps...gl on your action sir

SUB - thanks for your reply and insight into your efforts. Again, not looking to cause a problem or call anyone out, but in reading what you have stated, you must be putting numerous hours in and and thank you. It would seem based on you what have indicated, your capping, posting, etc, requires a hurculean effort to do so and I appreciate that. Not to focus on me, but I unfortunately don't have time traveling on and off planes, etc. so to put a spread sheet together to follow people would be almost impossible. That's my issue for sure. My question is if your posting at different sites, how do you select which plays go to which site? What criteria do you use to post here and there? It seems your putting a ton of time in to cap, create spread sheets, etc. why not post all plays with the overall record? Not saying you're doing anything wrong, but it appears you putting a lot of time in already.

Bottom line, the forum is better with you and thanks for your time to explain your situation.
