RED SOX/ATHLETICS UNDER 7.5 +100 ? You can?t pitch any better than Pedro has on the road this season, where he has a 0.00 ERA and a 0.33 WHIP in 3 starts. And no, those are not typos! Oakland has not been immune to Pedro?s spell, as he has reeled of 7 consecutive Quality Starts against them, pitching exactly 7 innings in each of those starts and not allowing more than 3 runs in any of them. Lidle is a disappointing 1-4 with a 4.58 ERA on the year, but he does have a pretty good WHIP of 1.36. The X-Factor here however is the fact that the Red Sox had to fly across 3 Time Zones after playing in Tampa last night, and they did not arrive in Oakland until around 3 AM PT! A tired team facing a pitcher with decent control in Lidle should equate to little offense.
