I have stayed away from the forum for a few months and even forgot my old handle and password. I`m a little rusty on my handicapping, so this opinion has no stats etc.
The fact is tho, that the Bosox are going down the tubes. Do not chase them. Don`t think that becasue Nomar`s back etc, they will get hot. They are in a total tailspin. Nomar`s return made a difference in only his first game back. They have only won a couple since then, and they are playing lousy. The good teams like Oakland always send them back to reality. Baltimore, one of the worst teams in the leaugue, is now taking shots at them !
Firing a good manager, because the spoiled playes didn`t like him will not help. It won`t be long before the fans will turn on the team, because of GM Duquette. When this happens hired guns who have no cares about the fans and the city like Lansing, Ramirez, etc will stop putting out 100%. If they haven`t already, having been catered to by a panicky GM. Until they put a few wins together,,,,,see if this happens anytime soon. Stay away.
