Wow.. I seem to be betting on teams that can't make simple plays, or decide to leave runners on base... (like FL yesterday - Hanley Ramirez is a bum - big strikeout with a runner on 3rd in the 8th - and then made once of the worst errors the announcers ever saw - the Wash announcers said so) in the 9th to give the game away...

Today, Ramirez hits a line drive off the top of the wall - homer in any other park. Nixon follows with a drive to right (deep part) that would have been out in other parks - bounces over the wall for a ground rule double. Walk Varitek - bases loaded with one out for Mike (I never miss the chance to hit into a double play) Lowell. Of course, 6-4-3.

Then leading off the next inning, first ball is hit to Cora (Bos SS). Easy line drive, but turns his head, and drops it. Of course, that baserunner scores without a base hit in the inning!

Sox are still a good team - I just picked a very unlucky day to bet on them.

Sorry, had to let some frustration out...... (yea, I guess I'm whining - still frustrated by the Brewers yesterday - 8 baserunners in 1st 3 innings - no runs - even had bases loaded with no outs in the 2nd and bases loaded with one out in the 3rd). NA DA.

ARRRGGG!

Nothing like a little whining to get a win...nice hit I was on the other side of that one, still on tilt from it.
