Cant see this going over the 9.5 runs...here is why :

Both pitchers have great numbers against the opposition, here are just some of the stats...

Mark Bellhorn 1-14 vs Randy
Johnny Damon 0-6 vs Randy
David Ortiz 1-6 vs Randy
Manny Ramirez 4-24 vs Randy

Dont think the big unit is pitching badly, just not getting much run support in a bad start for the Yankees. Really guess he is going to show up in the big games.

Wakefield is 4-1 at Yankees Stadium, and has some impressive numbers....

Hideki Matsui 4-24 vs Wakefield
Alex Rodriguez 11-46 vs Wakefield
Bernie Williams 11-46 vs Wakefield

I am adding the factors that Red Sox seem pretty cold with the bat at present, and I really expect the big unit to perform on the big occasions. Finally the home plate umpire is 2-6 in favour of the under this season, so that wide strike zone will make these pitchers ever more effective.

Strong play on the under 9.5 (-120) for me.....good luck :)

I love the under as well, Pinny had Under 9 +120 so I bought a run and got under 10 -123. The reasons some are playing the over: wind is blowing out and Wakefield won't have his personal catcher tonight. I still like the under alot as the Sox can't hit lefties at all the last month.

Yeah wind blowing out is the only negative I can find with this bet. Hopefully, if pitchers pitch as I expect, the wind wont be too much of a factor.

:scared Dont like winning like that....will count myself lucky on this one, but when you get seven scoreless innings, you normally expect to cash in on a 9.5 under! :mj14:
