Jimmy Haynes has pitched exceptionally better on the road than at home this season, which continues his pattern from recent years in Milwaukee. He is 2-1 with a nice 2.55 ERA on the road. He did not pitch terribly the last time he faced St. Louis, allowing 2 runs in 5.2 innings in a 4-2 defeat. He is backed by a great Cincinnati bullpen that really didn?t use its best pitchers in yesterday?s 10-1 Cardinal rout. We can?t knock Woody Williams form, but he has pitched all of 8 innings this season, and there is always the potential for muscle soreness in the 2nd start back after a long layoff.
