personally, i don't want IA to go to the Rose Bowl....hoping it get's passed down to #3 in the big 10

If Ohio State manages a win next week against Michigan (and hopefully they WON'T) they would be the big 10's representative at the Rose Bowl....(they would defer for the national championship game of course) even tho they would be co-champions, the order of tie breakers would give the rose bowl to OSU ......conference, head to head (void), overall, most recent appearance. IA bit themselves in the butt with ISU.

I still want to see IOWA defer the rosebowl too.......and really think they deserve one of the BCS at large game bids

let's sort it ALL out after Michigan kicks some Buckeye hiney next weekend

The way I got it it doesn't matter what happens next week with tOSU and Mich....If OSU wins they go to the NC game (fiesta) and and Iowa goes to the Rose with a BCS at-large (the other at-large goes to Norte Dame, with the texas loss at least the at-large belongs to Iowa unless Miami loses to Pitt). If OSU loses Iowa goes to the Rose as the Big Ten champ. If Georga, Ok, Wash State, and OSU all lose then Iowa goes to the Fiesta NC game...I think...lol....I'd say about a 95% chance Iowa goes to the Rose Bowl......I guess the computer will work it out....

LOL, you've done A LOT more thinking on it than i have to this point

for starters, let's make sure Michigan kicks their butt......that would eliminate ONE of the top 6 BCS teams would have to get one more out of the way in BCS rankings to get IA one of the at large bids tho, wouldn't we?

although the IDEAL game in my dreams would be IA / OSU in the fiesta.

so IF OSU happens to win, lets have all the rest of them lose

Got home late last night from the Twin Cities...... What a weekend...... what a great finish to the season....... A shame we probably won't get to prove to anyone that we are the best team in the country-- but there are still a few games left to be played and if enough teams lose......

BTW, in that shot of Kirk Ferentz-- you can't quite see it, but we were in the next box on the right-hand side of the picture. My first time watching a game from a skybox, and if there was any way I could always sit in one, I would.

How one early season screw up cost so much. Redsfann been pulling for you all year. Made a buck or two on Iowa. I can't go as far as you as the best in the land. But you should be rated in top 5 forsure. If Wa St goes down a second time. You would be in top 3. N Dame they have ahead of Iowa and that is wrong. Iowa would beat Oh St by 7 points, and N Dame by 10. I do believe that even if im a Wisky Fan. Im a big ten fan to. I still do not believe N Dame is that dam good. We will see how they handle USC. They beat USC I will give them more credit.
