What's he in the doghouse about? 1 catch last week and only played 9 of 28 off plays in the 2nd half?? Absurd for them to be 16 pts favorites on the road this week. He is likely to transfer to Iowa State. They do not have a good fast power running back like they have always had in the past. Are there any others besides the 2 fumbling clowns running the ball?

His brother has been tweeting about his lack of touches this season.
And with the dictator Ferentz in charge that automatically means he?s going to be left out of the offense regardless of what it means for the team.
Remember all the crap with DJK a few years back when he openly questioned the coaching staff about his playing time?
Fant would be crazy to stay after this season as he should be the first tight end off the board in the draft in April.
His lack of playing time will probably cost him some post season awards but luckily the NFL only cares about talent and he?s the best TE in the country this year.
FIRE FERENTZ!!

As far as the running backs go, you?re right, they don?t have anyone close to being an elite big ten back.
That forces Stanley to have to do too much, and it?s obvious his hand is hurting badly.
But do you think captain clueless will play a different kid?
Hell no, he won?t. [emoji35]
Dumpster fire in Iowa city these days.
I won?t play Illinois plus the points Saturday, but I did hammer the over 58.5 already and may add to it as the week goes on.
Iowa can?t stop anyone and neither can Illinois. The Illini are also good for some dumb turnovers which should lead to some easy points.
Forecast as of now is for lower 40s at kickoff with no precipitation so conditions will be good for a 42-35 kind of game.
