That's one good little league team you have from Davenport. I would guess the town is very proud. It's nice of ESPN to show so many of the games. Those kids must feel 10 feet tall. Tough one today. But to even get to this point. Wow.

Yeah, a tough loss yesterday, but they are gonna get it done today! This is the second year in a row that a team from Davenport East little league has made it to Williamsport. Only 3 kids are on this team from last year..
Keep your eye on Willie Argo, the 11 year old. His dad, Bill Argo, played high school baseball at the same time as I did-- he was at the catholic school in town.
Argo also spend a couple of seasons in the lower minors before coming back to Davenport.
