according to local reports burkett on strict pitch count...he will pitch 65-70 pitches then give way to wakefield...leaning towards a split in these games today.....KC game one and sox game two....look for offerman to play centerfield in one of the games:eek: ...going to look into matchups more ...be back...

couple of stats on sox pitchers...

1.) redsox starters other than pedro are 6-2 with a 2.01 ERA

2.) sox starting pitchers are 5-0 with a 0.90 ERA on the road

Cooz,

When KC played in Boston earlier they were stealing bases right n left on the Sox. Burketts first outting(maybe alittle rust) and Wakefields(coming in after 60+ pitches) knuckler should lead to alot of opportunities on the basepath for KC.

A good hedge in the 1st game might be KC +145 and the over 10.

totally agree with you sport....teams that can steal give the redsox fits because their catchers especially varitek cannot throw anybody out...on top of that with the sox pitchers in the first game they should have a field day against them stealing...cooz
