Just got in and let me say I have never been to a crazier party in all my life. There were estimates of over 400,000 people celebrating consisting of every car having flags, car honking, dancing, you name it.

Nice to see an italian victory and seeing people enjoy this truly special moment. It's once in a lifetime that something like this happens.

A special congrats to the french who played their hearts out, well done. Both teams are winners in my book and a nice job by the host country Germany in hosting a spectacular event.

I have over 60 pictures that I'll upload sometime this week. Have to catch a flight out to michigan tomorrow.

Finally, I was going through the yahoo pictures and it was nice to see italian fans all over the world celebreating (from newark ny, manhattan ny, Boston, philly, paraguay, africa, italy and australia). Just goes to show how the world cup brings together all these people. A splendid display of celebration.

Congrats on the victory. Very surprising as I did not consider them a strong competitor for the cup at the beginning with all the hype on Brazil and Argentina.

Congrats1

DR.....I was up on College Street right after the game and it was a good time. Many people of course but nothing like the crowd where you were on St Clair. My nephew lives up there and called me from St Clarens/St Clair saying people couldn't move and it was a great time.....Told him "sure it is with all those woman around".... :  Him being a big good looking guy I wonder if he's home yet. Gotta see what pics my daughter took and looking forward to seeing yours....Later

I was also on St. Clair and Dufferin and it was a great time. I grew up on Appleton Road and went to St. Clair school next to the church. The entire road was RAMMED from Landsdown to Oakwood with people, flags, music and people all just having a great time. I also got some pics which I'll upload tonight. LOTS of hot babes everywhere.. too bad I was with the girlfriend....

Morale of the story, Never bring sand to the beach...

I think the Beverly Hills police never thought that they would have to deal with a riot. They were wrong. Hardest those lazy bastards have had to work in their life. It was amazing to see such a quite, conservative town just crazed. I saw breasts being exposed and about 1000 bottles of champagne flowing in one resturant alone. Utter insanity. Wish I had my camara and I also wish I didn't bring sand to the beach.

Why am I stuck reading words instead of looking at pictures as the title of the thread suggests?

Italy shouldn't have made it past Australia, but they played great after that. Really earned my applause in the Germany game.
